Select a PDF file. If using "Extract Specific Pages/Ranges" mode, previews for each valid range will appear below as you type. For other modes, the first page of the original PDF is shown.
How to Use This Tool
- 1. Select PDF: Drag & drop or click to choose your PDF. You'll see its name, size, and page count.
- 2. Choose Split Mode & Configure:
- Extract Specific Pages/Ranges:
Enter page numbers or ranges (e.g.,
1-3
,5
,7-end
). Each input field creates one new PDF. Next to each input, you'll see feedback on the pages that will be included. Use "Add Another Range" for more PDFs. - Split All Pages: Each page becomes a separate PDF.
- Split by Fixed Page Count: If you enter '2', a 5-page PDF will become: pages 1-2, pages 3-4, page 5.

If a PDF is loaded:
- In "Extract Specific Pages/Ranges" mode, this section will show previews (first and last page) for each valid range you define.
- In other modes, it shows a preview of the first page of your original PDF.
- 4. Split PDF: Click the "Split PDF" button.
- 5. Download: Previews of the first page of each new PDF segment will appear with "Download" buttons. A "Download All Files" button is also available.
Important: Page numbers are 1-based. All processing happens in your browser for privacy and speed.
